Overview
GDIT is seeking a Solutions Director responsible for leading teams in the build, sale, and delivery of ServiceNow services to Federal and State customers. The role focuses on managing resource operations, talent development, sales, and marketing to grow and support our business in a rapidly changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development :
Build and manage large, high-performing teams by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Set a clear vision and strategic direction, aligning team efforts with business goals to drive success.
Provide mentorship and career development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging innovation and accountability.
Sales & Marketing :
Develop and implement efficient processes for short sales cycles and effective product demos tailored for federal customers and executives.
Create and deliver compelling thought leadership pieces, showcasing GDIT's ServiceNow capabilities in various forums and publications to enhance brand awareness and market position.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify market opportunities, craft strategic sales initiatives, and drive revenue growth.
Execute marketing campaigns focused on the unique value proposition of GDIT's ServiceNow offerings, targeting federal and state government sectors.
Analyze customer feedback and market trends to continually refine and improve marketing strategies and product positioning.
Business Growth :
Rapidly scale ServiceNow shared and professional services to meet increasing market demand.
Develop and implement strategies to expand service offerings and reach new customer segments.
Identify opportunities for business process improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Leverage market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies and adapt to changing market conditions.
Collaboration & Influence :
Negotiate with peers and senior leaders to arrive at mutually beneficial solutions to complex business problems.
Foster a culture of collaboration by valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open communication across teams.
Gain support and buy-in for changes to the App Service Portfolio by clearly articulating the benefits and value of proposed initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, architecture/engineering, cyber, contracts, suppliers, and program management teams.
Operational Rigor :
Ensure operational discipline by implementing best practices and continuous improvement processes.
Develop and maintain robust metrics and reporting systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Cultivate strong relationships with both business and technical leadership to align operational efforts with strategic goals.
Manage budgets and financials to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience in Information Technology; 9+ years of experience in Information Technology in lieu of degree.
5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow and shared/managed services.
5+ years' experience leading ServiceNow sales activities.
Experience in federal contracting proposal development and managing budgets/financials.
Ability to lead and influence in a matrixed environment.
Excellent leadership, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Broad enterprise-wide business view and appreciation of strategy, processes, capabilities, technologies, and governance.
Strong collaboration skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
Ability to transition between tactical and strategic objectives.
Desired Qualifications
20+ years of experience in Information Technology.
10+ years in government contracting environments.
10+ years' experience leading people and managing teams larger than 40.

The likely salary range for this position is $191,250 - $258,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
