Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Join our dynamic team in a large industrial hardware distribution center where you'll engage in general warehouse duties across various departments and shifts, including inventory control, shipping, receiving, order filling, and stocking. You will utilize RF scan guns, headsets, forklifts, and other equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Responsibilities
Shipping: Start times at 8AM and 10AM. This physically demanding department requires forklift experience. Responsibilities include sorting, scanning, checking merchandise, ensuring proper loading onto pallets/trucks, building pallets, wrapping and loading them onto trucks using a pallet jack, and handling larger items such as ladders and pipes. Frequent lifting and carrying of weights ranging from 0-70lbs, with occasional loads over 70lbs. Involves considerable twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Receiving: Start times at 3AM and 6AM. Unload incoming trucks and rebuild pallets by scanning and receiving inbound merchandise, unloading containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually. Responsibilities include sorting items, repalletizing, wrapping, verifying pallet counts, and delivering scanned merchandise to appropriate staging areas. Constant lifting and carrying between 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Stocking: Start times at 3AM, 4:50AM, 8AM, or 10AM. Stock merchandise from receiving onto shelves by moving products to different points throughout the distribution center. Use power equipment for heavier items and manually unpack smaller items for shelving. Frequent lifting and carrying between 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs, with frequent bending and reaching.
Repack Order Fillers: Start time at 5AM. Pick smaller items and fill totes using a headset in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include picking merchandise, labeling cartons, and placing totes on conveyor belts. Frequent lifting up to 50lbs+, with occasional carrying between 20-50lbs.
Full Case Order Fillers: Start time at 5AM. Pick heavier merchandise using power equipment. Responsibilities include driving stock pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts, manually pulling cases off shelves, unloading items on conveyors, and labeling products. Constant lifting and carrying of weights between 50-60lbs+, with frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
Inventory Control: Start time at 4:45AM. Audit inventory, fill out reports, and perform data entry. Responsibilities include auditing daily inventory reports, performing physical audits, resolving inventory-related inaccuracies, preparing shipments for return, and interacting with vendors and management. Constant lifting/carrying under 20lbs, occasionally lifting/carrying 20-50lbs.
Essential Skills
Experience with shipping and receiving, order picking, and RF scanners.
Experience with power equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers is highly advantageous.
Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in fast-paced or heavy labor roles, material handling, inventory management, packing, labeling, and loading.
Excellent data entry and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel spreadsheets.
Good math and reading skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior power equipment/forklift and scan gun experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
