Operations Support Specialist II

Amentum is seeking a Target Operations Support Specialist for the North of Las Vegas, NV area to be responsible for assisting Target Operations Supervisors with administrative activities associated with Target Operations. The Operations Support Specialist will be directly responsible for supporting the planning and coordinating of range/target maintenance activities, convoy support activities, working with Amentum HR to provide personnel support activities, and work with RSSII PM Support personnel to plan and coordinate personnel travel, perform ordering, tracking and inventory of materials and supplies.

Compensation & Benefits:

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $75.000.00 - $80,000.00 Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.

Work with Amentum Security to draft, track and coordinate personnel Common Access Card (CAC) and security badge requirements.

Act as liaison between Target Operations personnel and Amentum HR to draft, submit and track personnel administrative support documents.

Seve as the primary focal point for Target Operations personnel administrative requirements and/or actions.

Work with Program Management Support personnel to plan and coordinate personnel travel (TDY) requirements.

Draft, submit and track personnel shift change notices and associated documents.

Work with Program Management Support personnel to draft, submit and track personnel expense reports associated with travel.

Assist Project Managers in the preparation of proposal and execution of supported exercises and mission on the Nevada Test and Training Range Complex.

Manage and maintain administrative files as assigned in support of daily range/target maintenance, and salvage operations.

Assist the Target Operations Manager in preparing monthly reports as required.

Perform other administrative duties/tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

Five years' experience in operations support, administrative support, or administrative assistant role.

Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Good working knowledge of SharePoint and Maximo a plus.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Bachelor's Degree
