You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for our THAAD Program Production Engineering team, supporting the development and production of complex systems in Arlington, TX. Our team is part of Lockheed Martin's Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) program, which is a collection of programs with a similar mission to defend against airborne threats. We're looking for a highly skilled and collaborative individual to join our team and support the production engineering efforts.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing design for manufacture input, transitioning new or revised designs from development to production, and leading manufacturing process validation activities. You will also be responsible for driving cost reduction initiatives, identifying risks to production, and implementing mitigation plans. Additionally, you will be required to evaluate designs for producibility, help suppliers resolve technical manufacturing issues, and provide Lockheed Martin and supplier factory manufacturing support.

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data.

Ability to travel domestic and/or international

Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline

Active Secret Clearance OR ability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
