The NGMC organization is looking for a Business Operations Manager 3 to help strategically integrate the center portfolio by keeping the necessary momentum on efforts that impact the center's performance and accelerate growth. This role will be based onsite in Linthicum, MD .
Portfolio integration is about integrating teams and processes to drive business outcomes. Working day-to-day with the NGMC leadership team and their key leaders, the Business Operations Manager will help drive decision-making by setting the operating rhythm and agenda for executive leadership engagements, owning the strategic narrative for the NGMC, and by deploying strategic operating models and processes cross-functionally. The selected candidate must be a dynamic self-starter who understands how the business is run, is comfortable speaking up, and is capable of influencing senior executive opinion.

What You'll Get to Do:
Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Establish and maintain the operating rhythm for the VP and NGMC Leadership Team, serving as a focal point for collaboration and meeting/event facilitation.
Shape and develop the NGMC narrative and VP communications content for strategic internal engagements with Sector and Corporate teams.
Analyze, track and communicate NGMC goals and metrics tied to the strategy & annual operating plan to aid in leadership, financial and organizational decision making.
Develop, implement and support NGMC level processes and operating frameworks/models across multiple functions.
Drive execution of strategic initiatives and tasks initiated by the VP by working with cross-functional teams and business leaders throughout the organization.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' or a Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant work experience.
Experience developing and implementing complex processes.
Experience in a strategy role or demonstrated ability to think strategically.
Experience interacting with and influencing senior leadership.
Experience with conducting presentations to upper/executive management.
Demonstrated leadership experience - either leading matrixed teams or strategy efforts.
U.S. Citizenship.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance after starting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading business operations at the division or BU level
Demonstrated experience with cross campus/sector, or multi-discipline, collaboration.
Work that crosses typical organizational, site, sector boundaries
Extensive and documented experience in an operational role at the Business Unit level.
Experience in resource planning and staffing to plan.
Project Management Professional certification, or similar.
Active TS/SCI Clearance.

Salary Range: $178,500.00 - $267,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
