The role

The Senior Accounting Manager will be the leading member of the Weidmann US accounting department; managing and overseeing the daily

operations of the accounting team, ensuring that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Senior Accounting

Manager will have a broad understanding of the financial reporting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable

functions, intercompany reconciliation processes, and foreign currency translations.

How youll make an impact

Plan, coordinate, and participate in all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and generally accepted accounting procedures.

Perform monthly and year-end close processes and reporting under tight deadlines, ensuring the accuracy of the balance sheet accounts.

Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a high-performance environment.

Preparation and coordination of tax provision workpapers and timely filing of corporate consolidated Federal and State income tax returns and related estimated tax payments.

Overseeing and ensuring compliance with State and local sales and use tax and other annual corporate compliance requirements

Responsible for insurance and risk management oversight.

Perform research on complex accounting problems and make recommendations on accounting treatment, including the implementation of new accounting standards.

What do you bring

Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Strong general ledger accounting knowledge; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP; familiarity with QlikView is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.
