Test Technician

Job Description

The Test Technician plays a crucial role in supporting test operations by setting up fixtures, components, and machines for engineering tests needed in the development or evaluation of components, systems, and machines. This position also involves participation in the construction and maintenance of test roads.

Responsibilities

Perform the setup of fixtures, components, and machines for engineering tests.

Diagnose and repair electrical system failures on machines.

Participate in the construction and maintenance of test roads.

Assemble and disassemble machines.

Essential Skills

Mechanical skills.

Experience with operation of haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and/or other equipment.

Associate's degree in a relevant technical field such as Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Construction or mining maintenance experience is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is based at the proving grounds located in Green Valley. This facility is expansive and accommodates several large mining trucks, providing a dynamic and hands-on setting for operational tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
