Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This contract position involves providing front desk support, assisting with customer inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors at the front desk, addressing inquiries related to permitting and zoning by connecting them with the appropriate city personnel.

Support the submission process by helping with applications and intake forms.

Handle incoming deliveries and organize packages efficiently.

Perform general clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and data entry.

Maintain office supplies by placing orders and ensuring stock levels are adequate.

Use standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete tasks and train on form intake processes.

Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with the public.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Requirements - Previous experience in administrative or office support roles.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in data entry and general clerical tasks.

Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks effectively.

Friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with government processes or local area knowledge is preferred.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
