Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 Total Compensation

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team in the Baltimore area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects including multi-family apartment complexes, hotels, private schools, and other commercial buildings in project values up to $1 million. Industrial experience is a plus, or a willingness to learn industrial estimating is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors in the Baltimore metro area.

Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.

Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Stay current with industry trends, materials, and methodologies to ensure competitive and accurate estimating.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.

Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Foreman or Electrical Project Manager with a strong background in commercial projects.

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial projects.

Experience with multi-family, hotels, private schools, and other large-scale commercial projects.

Familiarity with project values up to $8k -$1 million.

Connections with general contractors in the Baltimore metro area.

Industrial estimating experience is a bonus but not required.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in estimating software and tools, specifically E.B.M. and EPIC estimating software
