As a Manufacturing Engineer-Measurement Specialist, you will develop measurement routines and assist with strategy, inspection and programming.

What you will be doing:
Here you'll have an opportunity to work on the following:
Development of parametric CMM programs for families of components by interpreting component blueprints, determining appropriate measurement inspection strategy, GR&R studies, and supplying process correction data.
Design and simulate custom probe sets in CAD in conjunction with process fixture design with process Manufacturing Engineers
Maintain and support CMM machines and programs including support structure for family systems of programs, result reporting, troubleshooting CMM programs and machines, integration into automation and network, and management of network repository of CMM programs and results data.
Work with component design engineering to define best dimensioning scheme around functional need of components/design intent, limitations of GDT, and current measurement technologies
Ensure product integrity for component is delivered through alignment of method of measurement with design intent by interfacing with the appropriate design engineering organization.
Identify opportunities for new or improved inspection processes to meet current or future requirements and work with CMM software vendors to fix issues and add needed functionality

Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology and 2+ years of experience in operations or engineering OR
Master's degree Engineering or Technology and 0+ years of experience in operations or engineering
Experience with CMM machines and software and other measurement technologies
Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this role
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Zeiss Calypso software and Siemens NX
Understanding Windows computer systems, file permissions, network drives
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies
Experience with aerospace materials, tolerances and processes, PFMEA, PPAP, Process Excellence (six sigma), and Lean Manufacturing best practices is strongly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as are interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow up skills.
Ability to meet deadlines on multiple projects/programs.
Experience in the management and implementation of manufacturing technologies and processes using an MRCL or Technology Readiness Level (TRL) gated process, would be an advantage.

Pay Range: $90,985 - $136,477
