Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement embedded software in C for a Linux-based application. The role involves remote work on a Linux server and integration on a Linux single-board computer in the lab. You will collaborate with a team of five, including experienced developers, to handle the most technically complex component of the system, following provided scope and requirements to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

Work remotely on a Linux server and perform integration on a Linux single-board computer in the lab.

Collaborate effectively with a team of five developers.

Follow provided scope and requirements to deliver high-quality, maintainable code.

Essential Skills

Strong experience in C programming, particularly in embedded systems.

Hands-on experience with embedded Linux development.

Familiarity with development on single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

US citizenship is required due to program constraints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working in aerospace and defense sectors is a plus.

Understanding of space-grade valve technologies and applications.

Work Environment

This role requires in-person work at the Parsippany office due to the project's high urgency and short timeframe. The team may need to collaborate extensively and work late or over weekends if necessary. Flexible work schedule options are available, such as working four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday with Fridays off, or working four 9-hour days Monday through Thursday and a half-day on Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $90.00/hr.
