Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Medical Assistant that will play a key role in supporting both clinical and administrative operations. This hybrid position requires a self-starter who can work independently, manage a dynamic workload, and provide hands-on assistance to clinicians and clients. The ideal candidate is organized, empathetic, and comfortable navigating both in-person and remote responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support (On-site):

Assist with patient intake, including vital signs and health history documentation.

Prepare treatment rooms and support clinicians during sessions as needed.

Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment.

Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

Administrative Duties (Remote & On-site):

Schedule appointments and manage calendars for clinicians.

Handle patient communications, including follow-ups and reminders.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR systems.

Process insurance claims and billing support.

Coordinate referrals and manage documentation for external providers.

Hybrid Work Expectations:

Attend scheduled on-site days for clinical support and team meetings.

Perform administrative tasks remotely with reliable internet and communication tools.

Maintain consistent communication with staff and clients across platforms.

Support surrounding medical hospitals and medical collaborations as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent training preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience working with Mental Health populations.

Experience in mental health or behavioral health settings is a plus.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. null
