Job Description:

Logistics Analyst Advisor

The logistician provides integrated logistics support services to a mission-focused media exploitation technical program. This person is responsible for ensuring the program's requisite products are ordered, received, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. A successful logistician must have outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills, be at ease working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to adapt to customer-driven requirements. This person should have strong problem-solving skills and be self-motivated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and execute the direct procurement of program equipment and tools

Initiate, record, and preserve work order documentation for the acquisition of component items from vendors

Assemble media exploitation kits

Research, prepare, and maintain transportation documents

Maintain accurate inventory of all materials and equipment

Follow client and company policy procedures for property management

Other duties and projects as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education or work/military experience

Two (2) to five (5) years of experience managing and performing logistics work

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in receipt, accountability, and maintaining inventory of stock supplies/spare parts

Comprehensive knowledge of international shipping requirements, including ITAR and export control requirements

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum

Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and knee

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
