Core Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. The Company operates across 20+ states and is a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, based in Miami, FL.SUMMARY:The Office Assistant manages the company's lobby area; greets and directs all visitors, including vendors, clients, job candidates and customers; handles special administrative projects as determined by plant managers. These areas could include assistance with payroll, billing, onboarding, compliance, or financial record keeping. Other clerical or administrative duties as assigned by manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Greet customers, guests, visitors.- Assist with employee onboarding activity.- Maintain records, reports, or files- Obtain and log information from customers, or customer service rep, etc.- Answer questions from employees or customers- Explain rules, policies or regulations to employees- Escort employees on facility tours as needed.- Enter customer orders and make changes as needed.- Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a business setting performing similar duties.- Experience should include demonstrated success with performing duties in at least one of the following areas: Payroll, associate onboarding, customer service, invoicing or bookkeeping.- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership- Possess a thorough knowledge of front office administration and procedures - Ability to use knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectivesCOMPUTER SKILLS:Effective use of a computer is required. Proficient in the use of Windows-based office software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Core Linen Services is an equal opportunity employer.
