Job Title: Account Development ExecutiveLocations: Greater Paducah, KY or Benton, KYJob Description
Great opportunity to work with a brand-new delivery program launching in the area. In this position, you will be responsible for recruiting local businesses to join the delivery partner program. You will work alongside a Field Manager and other local contractors to visit prospective businesses, pitch the program opportunity, qualify the business, guide the business through the application process, drive referrals through community organizations, and coordinate and execute recruitment events. This role requires travel (up to three hours driving distance) and has the opportunity to earn commission (up to $350 per partner converted).
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns (up to 3 hours driving distance).
Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest to apply.
Qualify the prospective businesses and guide them through the application process.
Lead activity and manage the pipeline in Salesforce.
Support the Field Manager to plan and host recruitment events in the community (e.g., lunch and learns, town hall meetings).
Collaborate with the Field Manager to work with local influencers such as chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.
Essential Skills
1-2 years in sales and/or customer service experiences.
Experience in outside/field sales is highly preferred.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Field sales experience is a plus.
Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
Professionalism, enthusiasm to work with others, and high sense of urgency.
Attention to detail and ability to solve problems for applicants in the field.
Tech savvy (experience working with multiple systems and technology).
Ability to travel up to 5 hours round trip distance daily.
Work Environment
The position requires fieldwork 4-5 days a week, with remote work for the remainder of the time. The role is commission-based, providing up to $350 per partner sign-on. The work environment involves extensive interaction with the sales team and requires understanding of sales processes. The candidate should be comfortable working with multiple systems and technologies.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.50 - $25.50/hr.
