The Office of Naval Intelligence's (ONI) Farragut Technical Analysis Center (TAC) has a USAJobs vacancy announcement open until 23 July for one GG-13 Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC). The individual filling this position will serve as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) in Farragut's Foreign Materiel Exploitation Division and will be responsible for providing specialized IT services within one or more of the following areas: policy and planning, security, enterprise architecture, systems analysis, applications software, operating systems, network services, data management, internet, systems administration, and/or customer support. This position has been designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. The incumbent must obtain and maintain the credentials described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 511 level 02, cyber defense analyst, within 12 months of appointment. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). This position may be subject to polygraph examination. This job is open to DoD Military Reserve (MR) and National Guard (NG) Technician Preference eligibles and DoD Retained Grade Preference eligibles and all US citizens.

ONI and its Centers are located in Suitland, MD, which is a few miles south of Washington, DC. Farragut TAC is the U.S. Navy's Center of Excellence for strategic scientific and technical intelligence (SandTI) analysis of foreign technologies, sensors, weapons, platforms, combat systems, C4ISR, and cyber capabilities.
