Description We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Family Law Attorney to join a reputable law firm based in Miami, Florida. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to handle a wide range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and financial matters, while working in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing cases from start to finish, ensuring high-quality client service and legal representation.
Responsibilities:
Manage family law cases from inception to resolution, including divorce, child custody, child support, and financial matters.
Conduct client interviews to understand their needs and gather relevant information for case preparation.
Draft and file legal documents such as motions, agreements, parental forms, and financial statements.
Prepare correspondence, letters, and legal agreements in compliance with family law procedures.
Utilize case management software to organize and track case details efficiently.
Represent clients in pre-hearing procedures and other legal proceedings.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding family law matters.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure seamless case handling.
Stay updated on family law regulations and best practices to provide informed counsel. Requirements
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
Active bar license in the state of Florida and in good standing.
Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems.
Strong drafting skills, including motions, agreements, and legal correspondence.
Comprehensive knowledge of family law processes and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation and filing.
