Role Summary/Purpose:
This role will provide strategic and financial leadership to the platforms for Complimentary Products, Retailer Share Arrangements (RSA) analytics and Reserves. This role will work closely with our client Finance Managers, Portfolio Credit Managers and Client Accounting team on RSA analytics and reserves, and will have direct interaction with client General Managers and Finance Senior Leadership as well. With regards to complimentary products, this role is responsible for leading all aspects of the financial forecasting and planning process and will support/partner with the VP of Complimentary Products on developing the product strategy and related P&L forecast/analysis.

Essential Responsibilities:
Prepare and present the monthly rolling forecast and OP for complimentary product financials to senior leadership
Manage one resource who is responsible for running daily jobs/activities to support the complimentary product pacing, forecasting and reporting
Continuously develop and enhance the complimentary product forecasting/planning process and drive efficiencies where possible
Continuously develop and maintain detailed documentation of the tools to analyze reserves and other components of RSA
Own process for preparing and reporting on RSA gainshare walks for pacing, monthly rolling forecasts and OP Plan for all gainshare clients
Own preparation and execution of specific clients' gainshare calculation for forecasting and accrual purposes
Prepare and present variance/ad-hoc analysis of changes in client reserves to Platform CFOs and Finance leadership as necessary
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field or in lieu of degree, 10 years equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or similar discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of financial modeling experience.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
Minimum of 2 years use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Hyperion (or similar).
Desired Characteristics:
Master's degree, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CFA or equivalent certification.
Experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
Prior people management experience
Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and grow talent
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
Financial services industry experience.
Ability to analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans and deliver results timely.
Ability to lead projects and assignments.
Demonstrated experience analyzing business data with the ability to distill large amounts of information down to the critical areas of focus.
Ability to create and deliver business presentations and communicate effectively.
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
