CTG is seeking to fill an Associate Marketing Specialist opening for our client in Remote, USA.

Location: Remote

Duration: 3 months

Overview:

We are looking for two talented content writers to support the content strategy team and internal partners. The ideal candidates will have experience creating long-form content for the financial sector, including SEO-optimized articles, landing pages, and knowledge base material. Content must align with audience needs, brand tone, and compliance guidelines. The role requires the ability to translate complex financial topics into clear, engaging content and to collaborate effectively across teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receive and respond to requests for strategic marketing content and materials such as campaigns, flyers, ads, and postcards from internal departments.

Develop and recommend advertising copy and layout to cost-effectively meet objectives.

Assist in the design and execution of market research projects and evaluate the effectiveness of advertising, promotions, and PR initiatives.

Collect and analyze customer, competitor, and market data to inform recommendations.

Prepare reports analyzing present and potential markets.

Create and implement marketing materials, including drafting surveys, questionnaires, and tabulations.

Maintain alignment with company risk and compliance standards.

Support a culture of diversity and uphold the M&T Bank brand.

Ensure adherence to internal control standards and resolve audit or regulatory issues as applicable.

Complete additional duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This role plays a key part in the execution of marketing strategy, requiring coordination across departments and a strong understanding of marketing principles in the financial services space. Work must meet compliance and branding standards while delivering value to the business.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree

At least 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

Copywriting experience in the financial industry

Proven ability to simplify complex subject matter

Demonstrated success in aligning messaging with brand and business goals

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $20.94 to $34.91/hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
