Job Summary:
As a Value Chain Synchronization Manager at Caterpillar within the Resource Industries Load & Haul Division, you will be responsible for coordinating inventory conformance activities with commercial segments and contributing to Global Sales & Operations Planning Demand, Ordering, and MBD worldwide production facilities by covering RIOP Load & Haul models to improve value chain synchronization with commercial segments. What You Will Do:
Design and implement integrated supply chain solutions by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to identify performance gaps and drive operational improvements.
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with dealers and internal stakeholders to promote alignment and adopt supply chain best practices.
Research and apply industry benchmarks and metrics to evaluate and optimize dealer inventory practices for RIOP Load and Haul Products.
Analyze supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and enhance supply chain performance.
Contribute to monthly Global Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Demand process for Load & Haul by identifying market changes affecting sales and aligning deals with forecast timing
Coordinate the best location of finished goods inventory to support demand and ordering methodology.
Education requirement:
Over 8 years of progressively responsible job-related knowledge.

What skills you will have:
Supply Chain Management:
Lead cross-functional teams to implement supply chain improvements.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain continuity.
Collaborate with product group value chain, dealers, and manufacturing teams to align supply chain design and conformance expectations.
Utilize various systems to assess dealer or Product Distribution Center inventory, assess dealer sales, and assess dealer orders.
Demonstrates knowledge with managing the supply chain after factory shipment.
Quantifies and discusses benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.
Utilizes conformance targets at various points in the supply chain to determine actions.
Participates in supply chain network design or redesign projects or processes.
Creates and monitors mechanisms for process integration with business partners.
Planning: Tactical, Strategic:
Develop tactical supply chain plans aligned with production schedules and strategic business goals.
Conduct scenario planning and capacity analysis to support new product introductions.
Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning meetings to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities.
Create planning dashboards and reports for cross-functional visibility and decision-making.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP):
Author and maintain SOPs for role execution as needed.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to update SOPs based as a function of continuous improvement.
Train teams on SOP compliance to ensure consistent execution across business partners.
Adjusts SOPs according to changes in organizational and industry procedures.
Tracks deviations from and modifications to existing SOPs in business operations.
Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations and policies.
Assists in establishing a standard operating procedure based on workflow and environment review.
Reviews the efficiency of standard operating procedures in terms of performance improvement.
Effectiveness Measurement:
Reports and interprets measurement results against benchmarks to provide actionable insights to management.
Develops and tracks short- and long-term improvement goals using assigned metrics.
Creates action plans under guidance to achieve functional performance targets.
Under guidance, reports measurement results in actionable form to management.
Interprets and analyzes results vs. established benchmarks.
Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function.
Conflict Management:
Mediates and resolves conflicts among individuals, groups, and departments.
Practices positive collaboration and converts difficult interactions into productive ones.
Guides participants in a conflict to rethink their current views.
Demonstrates good judgment in deciding when to involve a third party.
Makes parties aware of case studies of constructive and destructive conflicts.
Surfaces disagreements in early stages.
Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Peoria, IL or Decatur, IL office.
Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
