Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining compliance with established procedures. Responsibilities:

Verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and ensure proper authorization.

Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts to confirm completeness.

Enter and upload invoices into accounting software or designated systems.

Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments efficiently.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Maintain organized vendor files and ensure adherence to internal controls and healthcare regulations.

Respond to vendor inquiries with professionalism and clarity.

Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting tasks.

Collaborate with other departments to address payment issues or invoice discrepancies.

Ensure timely processing of utility, supply, service, and contractual healthcare-related invoices.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment management.

Proficiency in accounting software, such as Sage Intacct, and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VBA, formulas).

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Familiarity with coding invoices and journal entry processes.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
