Our client, a leader in the transportation and logistics industry, is seeking a Transportation Specialist to join their team. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting various departments, ensuring smooth operations and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Transportation Specialist

Location: West Coxsackie, NY

Pay Range: $21.00/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What's the Job?

Assist with production scheduling and maintain accuracy in ERP systems.

Support transportation and delivery functions, including documentation, scheduling, and customer communication.

Review and process shipping documents, invoices, and customer returns.

Compile reports and assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Coordinate cross-departmental communication and ensure timely follow-up on tasks.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred.

1-3 years of experience in office administration, logistics, or manufacturing support roles preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and documentation skills.
