Health Commercialization Advisor, Senior

That is why we need you, an experienced Health Commer cia lization Advisor who can analyze every aspect of our customer's commer cia lization and provide high-quality support.
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical advisor to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health ( ARPA-H ) , helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. Work with world-class scientists and engineers to support the development of high-impact solutions to society's most challenging health problems. Leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commer cia lization of successfully developed technologies.
You'll serve as a Health Commer cia lization Advisor helping clients to understand issues related to commer cia lization of new health technologies. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.
What You'll Work On:
Work holistically across the full ARPA-H program portfolio to identify unmet needs and high-potential opportunities for investment and commer cia lization, and perform portfolio-wide analyses to highlight white spaces that represent new strategic directions or technologies for ARPA-H
Develop strategies that prioritize and guide ARPA-H investment toward areas with the potential for transformative impact and high return on investment ( ROI )
Provide advanced commer cia lization support and technical expertise to ARPA-H program teams, and develop and implement strategies for stakeholder e nga gement and key services supporting transition and commer cia lization
Track, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and outcomes of commer cia lization initiatives, and recommend improvements for future efforts, and advise on the design, execution, and improvement of transition programs
Build strong relationships and collaborate within broad, multidisciplinary teams, and clearly communicate complex scientific and business concepts to varied audiences
Support agency-level portfolio commer cia lization strategy, including whitespace analyses, impact and ROI assessments, and monitoring overall progress toward technology transition
Develop commer cia lization strategies for ARPA-H programs and Performers from an investor or business perspective, and support high-quality market landscape assessments and other commer cia lization analyses produced by vendors for Program Managers and Performers

You Have:
10+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, commer cia lization, or investment strategy
Experience in technology transfer, digital technology, and diagnostic technology
Experience c ond ucting independent research, analyzing data, and producing professional reports
Doctorate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a scientific field
Nice If You Have:
Experience in program or project management
Experience with intellectual property ( IP ) and licensing strategies
Experience in user- center ed product development, e nga gement, and the transition of healthcare solutions
Experience with U.S. government or R & D health organizations
Experience supporting ARPA-like programs or U.S. DoD advanced development programs
Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams, and work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities, and manage multiple short- and long-term projects effectively
Ability to display a strong work ethic with a passion for healthcare impact and scientific discovery
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Master's degree in Business Administration

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
