The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring seamless day-to-day operations across all F&B outlets, including restaurants, in-room dining, banquets, and culinary operations. This hands-on position provides consistent oversight of both front-of-house service delivery and back-of-house kitchen execution, ensuring a luxury guest experience in accordance with brand standards.
This role partners closely with culinary, service, and stewarding teams to drive excellence in service, quality, and operational efficiency, while maintaining a strong presence on the floor and supporting the team in exceeding guest expectations.
Here is what you will be doing each day:
As a Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor , the key responsibilities are:
Operational Leadership:
Supervise and coordinate daily F&B operations across front and back of house, ensuring alignment with service standards, health and safety regulations, and brand expectations.
Partner with Executive Chef and culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations, timely food delivery, and consistent food quality.
Ensure FOH teams (servers, bartenders, IRD, banquets) deliver prompt, polished, and personalized service in all dining experiences.
Monitor cleanliness, setup, and readiness of all outlets, kitchen spaces, and banquet facilities.
Team Management & Training:
Support hiring, training, and onboarding of new F&B team members.
Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and ensure ongoing team development and service training.
Act as a mentor and leader on the floor, modeling luxury service and maintaining a visible presence during peak service periods.
Address team performance issues promptly and constructively, with support from HR and senior F&B leadership.
Guest Experience & Service Recovery:
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a gracious and solution-oriented manner.
Monitor guest satisfaction through direct interaction and service recovery as needed.
Collaborate with the Guest Relations and Front Office teams on VIP amenity execution and special requests.
Administrative & Financial Support:
Assist in scheduling, payroll validation, inventory control, and purchasing.
Monitor labor productivity and contribute to cost-control initiatives.
Support execution of events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a luxury hotel or upscale F&B environment.
Strong knowledge of both front-of-house service standards and back-of-house culinary operations.
Proven leadership ability with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
ServSafe and/or TIPS Certification preferred.
Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in POS and hotel operating systems (e.g., MICROS, Opera, or similar).

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer, and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
