Proficiency with either AutoCAD or Microstation, Inroads, AutoTurn, Synchro, Vissim and GIS software a plus, but not required.Engineers I/II evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional @types of plans, investigations, or surveys with relatively few complex features under the general guidance of a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Work on small projects or portions of larger projects. Typical projects include highway design, long range transportation planning, and traffic impact studies.Other Possible Essential Job Functions:- Primary data collector in the field.- Perform specific portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.- Perform standard computations or basic engineering analysis.- Maintain equipment inventory.- Attend project meetings with senior staf
