About this Job
This Administrative Assistant position will serve as administrative support for the Office of the Dean -- School of Social Work at Grambling State University.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Manage the offices of the Associate Dean to make day-to-day administrative decisions on his/her behalf.
Provide assistance to faculty, staff, and students under the direction of the Associate Dean.
Monitor budget and view budget items periodically to ensure smooth seamless operation.
Notify Associate Dean of any concerns lack and/or program needs.
Provide administrative support to the MSW Program.
Inform Director and Associate Dean of any issues related to students' progress and problems that might arise.
Compose correspondences, admission reports, and other documents relating to the MSW program. e College of Professional Studies.
