Description We are looking for a skilled and personable Bilingual Receptionist to join our team in Dorchester, Massachusetts. In this contract role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient service. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing multi-line phone systems.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
Manage switchboard operations for phone lines spanning 1 to 10 lines.
Direct calls and inquiries to appropriate departments or individuals.
Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
Provide support with administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure clear and effective communication between staff and clients.
Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive information. Requirements - Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and a second language.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with basic administrative and clerical procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
