Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to provide essential support in managing invoice processing and payment operations. This is a contract position based in Belton, Missouri, requiring on-site availability during standard business hours. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Process and input invoices accurately into the system to maintain up-to-date records.

Review invoices for discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.

Assist in clearing a backlog of invoices to ensure timely payments.

Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.

Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment-related inquiries.

Execute light accounts payable tasks as needed to support the department.

Verify account details and reconcile discrepancies promptly.

Adhere to company policies and procedures while handling financial data. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.

Ability to manage a high volume of invoices efficiently.

Familiarity with accounting software, preferably NetSuite.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Ability to work on-site during standard business hours.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial operations.
