Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to manage financial operations with a focus on grant fund oversight and emergency operations accounting. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and grant accounting.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage grant funds, ensuring accurate tracking and coding for audit compliance.

Handle operational accounting tasks for including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Prepare detailed financial reports and provide clear explanations of data findings.

Analyze and manipulate financial data to support decision-making processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain accurate financial documentation.

Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.

Support financial audits by providing relevant documentation and insights.

Utilize Oracle systems to streamline accounting processes.

Requirements - Proven experience in grant accounting and financial management.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Expertise in financial reporting and data analysis.

Proficiency in using Oracle systems for accounting tasks.

Ability to manage and track funds with attention to detail.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to explain complex financial data.

Familiarity with accounting standards and compliance regulations.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
