Position Summary:
To monitor the calibration frequency and traceability of inspection of Production Test fixtures and oversee the assembly, maintenance and calibration of production test fixtures, test accessories, cable harness and Test boards
Salary Range: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Job Function:
Prepare test setup and perform testing using production test programs as per documented procedure.
To verify workstation is ESD safe before performing any work assignment.
Organize test setups, maintain test equipment, accessories, and tools.
Responsible to collect and calibrate electrical Test Fixture i.e., recall and verify Test Fixtures performance that are due for Calibration per test fixture 50-page specification.
Responsible for performing regular maintenance for all electrical test fixtures and Pressing Arms, i.e., perform regular cleaning and keep fixtures in their respective locations.
Perform electrical test and evaluation of the Production Test Board i.e., test and store data
Prepared documents for ECO, make corrections or improvements such as model 50-page, new accessories introduction, cable harness to aid testing.
Coordinate with the assembly team to repair broken fixtures i.e., follow up on test fixtures that are being repaired.
Perform visual, functional check and Calibration on accessories used in production test i.e., Attenuators, Termination, test fixtures, pressing Arm and cable harness.
Assist and support new workstation introduction in the department to support the testing new models
Review member request to develop test holder and cable harness to facilitate testing.
Assist Daughter Company request relating to test fixtures queries.
Any other job-related activities as assigned by the Test Supervisor or Manager.
To work in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years College (Associates) Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
Ability to read, write and orally communicate in English.
intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
Two years working in an RF production test environment or outside technical related experience.
Basic computer skills to use department database and other related software.
Ability to read schematics and prepare Automatic/Manual test setup.
Ability to prepare test reports for review.
Ability to move test equipment occasionally (when required) for setup preparation or during test equipment Calibration cycle.
Ability to use simple hand tools, for example wrench, torque wrench, cutting tools, label machine.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to analyze test data and identify any issues or anomalies.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with test setups.
Maintain accurate documentation of test results and procedures.
Preferred Preferences:
Tuning, adjusting test board strip lines per documented procedures.
Soldering experience .
Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with ISHIHARA test for color blindness.
Knowledge using RF test equipment such as Network Analyzer and multimeter.
Ability to use hand tools such as soldering iron and wire cutting devices.
Ability to work independently.
