The Boeing Company is looking for an Training Systems Support Center (TSSC) Manager to manage the training efforts for the C-17. The position is located at Altus AFB, OK.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee operation of training systems to include formal course scheduling, training device monitoring, training system change management and systems improvements.
Work closely with the Site Lead and Logistics Manager to ensure a quality training support program is established and maintained.
The selected applicant will report to a Senior Manager based in St. Louis and will drive execution of existing program tasks as well as support efforts to grow the business.
Responsible for integrating products and capabilities with other sites and leading continuous improvement efforts.
This role has significant opportunity for leadership exposure and skill development, ability to execute independently and setting new standards for excellence is expected.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience in leading or managing a team of 5 or more people
Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees
Experience with guiding implementation of new processes and best practices
Aviation training or Aerospace support experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
A Bachelor's degree or higher.
Previous training management experience
Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the post 24 months is considered active.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay rate: $105,400 to $142,600
