Job Summary The Administrative Assistant aids in the completion of all plant office work required to keep accurate information flowing between the plant and Corporate Office. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Responsible for answering phone and taking messages as necessary. Assists in typing correspondence, filing and copying. Responsible for scanning and archiving of plant documents, including finished good batch records and inbound raw material shipments. Assists with generating plant daily/weekly reports which includes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), finished goods and raw materials. Assists with accounts payable for raw material suppliers and freight invoices. All other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Demonstrated computer experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree. Prior office experience; fax, copier, and printer. Communicates clearly in verbal and written form. Highly organized; superior time management skills. Excellent math skills. Ability to multi-task. Physical Demands Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, bend, and kneel. Frequently lifts up to 10 lbs. Long periods spent sitting at desk in front of computer screen. Regularly required reach with hands and arms. Work Environment Job functions will be carried out in an office environment.
