Due to growth, we are currently seeking to add an Account Executive to our exceptional team in our Stamford location. In this fast-paced role, you will engage in daily conversations with potential clients aiming to build trust and foster relationships for future opportunities. Success in this role consists of being approachable and persuasive, building out a center of influence, and the ability to understand diverse client needs and offer solutions that align with their goals. We're seeking candidates who are patient, calm under pressure, and dedicated to making impactful connections through consistent communication.

Responsibilities

Own a defined territory focused on the Financial Services sector.

Proactively source and identify potential clients through cold outreach, referrals, and networking.

Build and nurture a strong center of influence (COI) in the assigned market.

Conduct initial outreach, discovery calls, and needs assessments with prospective clients.

Execute onsite walkthroughs to assess client environments and provide strategic recommendations.

Collaborate with internal teams to align client goals with Charles IT's managed services offerings.

Accurately track activities and maintain data in HubSpot.

Maintain and grow relationships with industry associations, referral partners, and other key influencers.

Represent Charles IT at industry events and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Proven success in a sales role, ideally within the managed services or IT solutions space.

Experience selling to Financial Services organizations strongly preferred.

Familiarity with financial industry line-of-business applications is a plus.

Located in or willing to travel regularly to Stamford and Middletown, CT.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and navigate a fast-paced sales process.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.

Comfortable prospecting via phone, social media, email, and in person.

Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

Valid U.S. driver's license required.
