Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will train, manage, and evaluate production team members while assisting the Project Manager with preparing and updating production schedules. The role requires creating and maintaining daily reports, timesheets, safety, and accident reports. You will coordinate and monitor the installation progress, ensuring all installations meet quality and electrical code standards. This role demands strong leadership and communication skills to serve as an interface between various internal departments and external contacts.

Responsibilities

Train, manage, and evaluate production team members.

Assist Project Manager in preparing and updating production schedules.

Create and maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety, and accident reports.

Coordinate and monitor the installation progress.

Oversee the implementation and compliance with quality assurance and quality control programs.

Coordinate work with Project Manager, Purchasing, and Logistics teams to ensure material is expedited and received as needed.

Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.

Review submittals, budgets, schedules, and all other aspects necessary for a successful product order or program.

Maintain and foster contacts with consultants, contractors, vendors, and material suppliers.

Serve as an interface between internal clients to facilitate interdepartmental relations and program goals.

Assist with maintaining and improving existing standards and guidelines, implementing industry and company best practices.

Ensure component layouts and bill of material takeoffs comply with constructability and operability standards.

Participate in production/order meetings and conference calls.

Interpret plans, specifications, drawings, and documents related to engineering and construction.

Coordinate installation with subcontractors and other trades to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues.

Lead or assist with investigations, including root cause analysis as needed.

Assist Project Manager in compiling information required to submit Request for Information (RFI) to clients.

Assist Project Manager in addressing outstanding open items as requested by clients.

Prepare look-ahead documents and daily/weekly progress reports.

Review and monitor production labor costs versus budgets.

Develop an understanding of the client's culture, key people, and processes.

Provide guidance and direction for estimators during the pricing process.

Manage and assist program/product layout and coordination.

Resolve inter-group conflicts, program/product order conflicts, and delays to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

5+ years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical or integrated construction industry.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.

Previous work as a Licensed Electrician or Supervisor is a plus.

Ability to prepare, manage and accurately update production schedules (MS Project).

Knowledge and understanding of the estimating process.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

Strong customer service skills.

Willingness to travel for vendor relationship development and incremental factory inspections.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Journeyman license required.

Exposure to ACCUBID and/or ConEst is a plus.

Bilingual skills are a plus.

5-10 years of experience.

Data Center or Healthcare experience preferred.

Experience in electrical construction, industrial projects, data center construction, construction management, commissioning, production, substation, and commercial construction.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Annual Bonus Program, PTO 90 days after starting date, you will receive one week (5 days) of PTO. Upon your one-year anniversary, and annually thereafter, you will receive three weeks (15 days) of PTO. Medical insurance and dental coverage401(k) and Roth 401(k) Investment and Retirement Plan and company matches 50 percent up to the first eight percent deferred

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Arlington,TX.
