In this position...

You will have an opportunity to work with a global leader in the automotive industry. Working in a state-of-the-art facility with modern technology and equipment. Ability to establish and develop the culture of the facility engineering group. Great ability for upward mobility within the company.

What you'll do...

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining plant infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and plant efficiency.

Develop PMs and coordinate efforts during outage events.

Lead predictive maintenance efforts for reducing downtime across the facility.

Support Environmental group as needed.

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors to direct outage events and equipment maintenance.

Ability to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing environment

1+ year of experience Auto CAD experience

Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)

Even better, you may have...

Master's degree in Engineering

2+ years of related experience?mechanical engineering

2+ years of maintenance and construction experience

2+ years of experience with water, steam, and air piping system

Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs. And DMAICs

Ability to read and produce CAD prints.

HVAC design and maintenance experience

Understanding of Industrial Engineering concepts (constraint analysis, productivity analysis)

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Experience

Self-starter, self-directed with extremely good influential, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead in the technical aspects of the role.

Experience using problem-solving skills within FMEA, DOE, DMAIC, 5D, 8D processes.
