Business Bank has undergone a transformation to become a key strategic growth lever for the broader Consumer Bank. With a focus on growing low-cost deposits and payments revenue streams through sustained and meaningful client relationships, the Business Bank serves clients through both the branches, virtual RM and Core RM channels. Balancing the appropriate amount of investment to drive growth, simplification, and efficiencies is paramount for this business. In order to achieve this balance, the Business Bank team will require a Finance Manager that can help shape and share that vision and map the journey through financial modeling and metrics, performance management and incentive comp design, and investment tracking.
Robust financial scenario planning - In order to @contextualize potential technological and people investments and envision the path forward, financial business case scenarios and product profitability analyses need to be coordinated, built and properly communicated throughout the organization. The Finance Manager and team will play a leading role in that.
In depth financial forecasting and analysis - Through normal course of business, the Finance team is responsible for reporting on and analyzing the financial performance of the business, in addition to understanding, at a deep level, the business drivers of profitability in order to update P&L and balance sheet forecasts under changing business and environmental conditions.
Robust performance management - An individual in this role would be a driving force behind influencing and in some cases, implementing, robust performance measurements for the business. This includes reimagining financial performance management and reporting, as well as partnering with the business to develop and measure strategic financial and non-financial metrics.
Consult on incentive compensation and goaling - The Finance Manager is expected to provide thought leadership in the development of incentive compensation programs designed to support Business Banking, while maintaining a focus on the profitability of the business.
People leader and developer - This role will be part of the Finance organization, reporting into the CFO of the Consumer Bank.
