Summary:

This position will be an integral part for the financial responsibilities of the physician enterprise. The Physician Enterprise Analyst will work directly with the Vice President Home Care Operations & Physician Enterprise Financial Services supporting a wide variety of physician practice financial and operational functions. The Physician Enterprise Analyst will be responsible for, but not be limited to the following items: preparation of physician productivity/profitability financial statements, proformas when assessing a new arrangement whether employment or other model, regular reporting of Physician Practice Indicator reports, preparation of monthly physician incentive compensation amounts and accruals, maintaining a physician RVU data base as well as ad hoc reporting as needed.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

MBA or equivalent degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

Three (3) years of financial experience required

Five (5) years of financial experience preferred

Operational experience in healthcare or physician office management preferred

KNOWLEDGE,SKILL AND ABILITY

Strong knowledge of financial management

Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office software package

Demonstrated ability to work in team dynamic and across departments

Knowledge of applicable Federal and New York State rules and regulations

Knowledge of information systems application, implementation and operations in a healthcare organization

WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal heat, light space, and safe working environment; typical of most office jobs

Intermittent exposure to a few unpleasant physical conditions
