Responsibilities

ConGlobal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. The primary role is to establish and maintain strong relationships between ConGlobal and our customers while ensuring the accuracy of all equipment records and activities. You will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, providing accurate repair estimates, coordinating equipment surveys, and maintaining consistent communication with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and foster strong relationships with ConGlobal's customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Maintain accurate records of customers' equipment inventory, repair status, and all relevant activities.

Develop and maintain professional and effective communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.

Input repair estimates for the owners of equipment and obtain necessary approvals from lessors and/or owners.

Schedule and coordinate equipment surveys and adjust repair estimates based on feedback from surveyors, owners, or lessors.

Update TEC system when equipment is repaired and ensure all relevant data is logged accurately.

Prepare and manage daily billing paperwork for repaired units.

Responsible for compiling and submitting monthly storage and handling billing reports.

Coordinate scheduling of on-hires with the yard supervisor and assist with prioritizing equipment repair with the shop supervisor.

Update TEC system with sales equipment repairs and movements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree or relevant certifications in customer service or logistics is a plus.

Proven experience in customer service, logistics, or a similar field.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience with TEC systems or similar inventory management software is a plus.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening

The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
