Job Summary:
As an Electronic Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components and devices. This role involves working with complex machinery and electronic systems to ensure high-quality output and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly: Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, and other devices according to detailed specifications using tools like soldering irons, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Testing: Perform functional tests to ensure the electronics meet quality standards. This includes setting up test equipment, running diagnostic tests, and interpreting results.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair defects in electronic assemblies. This might involve rework, repair, or adjustment of electronic components to meet design specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with standards. Document and log any discrepancies or issues for further analysis or improvement.
Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on manufacturing tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, tests performed, repairs made, and any deviations from standard procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to resolve production issues, provide feedback for product design improvements, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, understanding of electronics principles, and experience with soldering techniques. Familiarity with IPC standards is a plus.
Educational Background: An associate degree or technical certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience: Typically, 1-3 years of experience in electronic manufacturing or a related field. Experience with automated assembly equipment is beneficial.
Attention to Detail: Must have meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality production.
Problem Solving: Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

The salary range for this position in local currency is 43400.00 - 80600.00
