Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapy Aide at our facility you will find out what it truly means to be a part of a collaborative team. Every role has an impact on our patients' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Join us in our efforts to better our community! In this role, under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist:

Assist with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.

Administer modality treatments such as hot packs or ice packs.

Inform the supervisor/director when supplies are low and need to be ordered to keep adequate supplies and equipment on hand.

Straighten up and clean equipment and items in the treatment room and gym area throughout your shift, making sure all equipment is clean and in proper storage areas.

Perform clerical duties and assist with posting of patient charges in the computer order entry system.

What qualifications you will need:

Qualifications:

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

Past experience with patient care in an acute-care setting is not required but preferred
