Position Overview:

As a global business digital expert for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), you play a crucial role in driving digital interaction and innovation within areas such as data historians, MES, and OEE. Your expertise will help propose and conduct programs and initiatives aimed at continuously improving effectiveness and efficiency, in collaboration with the Global OnePSS Digital unit and IT organization. You will support digital program coordination, contributing to all phases of the project lifecycle-from planning and design to execution and sustainment-while enhancing sites' digital acumen. You are responsible for ensuring the exchange of best practices and knowledge within the OnePSS chapter, developing lessons learned with regional, sites, and project staff (L1 & L2). Additionally, you will track sustain issues related to Manufacturing Operations Management for CS PS, including liaising with external companies such as suppliers and engineering firms.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the global business digital expert for Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), including data historians, MES, OEE, and other digital areas interaction;

Propose and conduct programs and initiatives for continuous effectiveness and efficiency improvement under the guidance of the Global OnePSS Digital unit, partnering with the IT organization;

Support digital programs coordination, contributing within all areas of the project lifecycle from planning, design, execution, and sustainment to adoption, increasing sites' digital acumen;

Ensure an exchange of best practices and knowledge within the OnePSS chapter and develop lessons learned with regional, site, and project staff (L1 & L2);

Track sustain issues related to Manufacturing Operations Management for CS PS, including contacts with external companies (supplier/engineering companies);

Reports directly to the Unit Lead of the Global OnePSS team with tight integration with Operational Excellence and Capability Building, Regional Digital Teams, PCT Regional and Experts, IT Product/Delivery Teams, CSF, CPI, SPI, and external suppliers.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of Digital Manufacturing discipline or IT-related degree with 10+ years of combined experience in Product Supply RC and CP, Manufacturing, Science, and Data Science;

Ability to work and influence in an intercultural and multidisciplinary environment, evidenced by foreign project assignments, working in a global network of production sites and engineering disciplines, and taking a leadership role for digital and manufacturing data initiatives;

Creative problem solver, capable of enabling digital solutions for sites' operational improvements, translating the technical digital approach to the business's real needs;

Senior experience in product supply, information technology, and global manufacturing processes;

Fluent in English; German and Spanish are a plus
