Position OverviewResponsible for obtaining prior insurance authorization and detailed benefits for all patient insurance @types for outpatient therapy services. Reviews documentation prior to

submission to third party payers to ensure the documentation meets agency standards, third party requirements for reimbursement and compliance requirements.

$17.98 - $25.17 per hour, depending on experience

Education and Experience

Minimum Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Two (2) years' experience working in healthcare OR two (2) years' experience working in customer service

Proficient PC Skills

Preferred:

Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology

Basic knowledge of insurance approval process related to outpatient therapies

Prior experience in clerical work
