Job Title: -- Finance Manager
Job Summary: -- This position supports the CFO and will partner across the EBS team and collaborate with Corporate to advance specific finance initiatives. The role can be based in Norwalk, Connecticut or Downers Grove, Illinois and is hybrid (3-4 days a week in the office).
The Finance Manager will conduct in-depth financial analyses of operating activities, capital investments, cash flows, and business acquisitions, as well as assist in the coordination, administration, and enhancement of financial and operating budgets and forecasts. The candidate is responsible for completion of business and financial analyses on moderate to highly complex business development/acquisition projects, analyzes past and present financial data of organization to assist in estimating future revenues, expenditures, and cash flows and coordinates acquisition due diligence and integration with respect to finance and accounting.
More specifically, the Finance Manager is a key part of the analysis, development and implementation of strategic initiatives consistent with the organization's long-range strategic goals and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

Conduct financial and business research and analysis, including the preparation of presentations, reports, graphs, and charts.
Review financial and business-related analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance, working capital, and investment.
Provide in-depth analysis of operational performance of operating companies and segment on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Prepare various financial statement account analyses and/or reconciliations.
Communicate key resources and contacts to new acquisitions and manage information flow in both directions.
Analyze operating results, primarily financial performance, to highlight any major event or deviation, and show the potential impact on future operations.
Assist in preparing financial reports and presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
Analyze and evaluate financial and operating implications of financial data and communicate observations related to business processes and profitability.
Assist in reviewing target companies for possible acquisitions, including gathering business and financial information on companies and industries, analyzing historical financial performance, and building projections based on industry trends and the competitive position of the Company, and developing valuation ranges.
Partner with segment-level leadership to coordinate and manage the integration process of acquired companies and develop written plans/ procedures to streamline future integrations.
Assist with special projects and reports as needed.
Travel to operating companies and various corporate meetings expected to be 30% of work time.
Qualifications: --
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field required. MBA or MSA preferred.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including a demonstrated track record of achievement within the finance field.
Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to independently analyze financial data.
Demonstrated ability to distill and depict financial information.
Proficiency in building PowerPoint presentations, including those incorporating charts, graphs and waterfalls.
Successful experience working on a team with a self-starter mentality.
Excellent time-management, self-execution, interpersonal, presentation, and organization skills.
Ability to travel to various locations of operating companies (approximately 30% of time).

Compensation Range: $135,000 - $160,000
This position is bonus eligible.
