As the IT Quality Assurance Analyst, you will provide professional knowledge and skills in information systems software testing, quality assurance and quality control of application software and systems. This includes the quality of the coding itself and not just the outcome of the application execution. This position promotes appropriate testing methodologies, striving to identify and manage defects in the software systems.
This position requires an employee to be onsite at 395 John Ireland Blvd, St. Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of the time, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.

Minimum Qualifications

Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of IT related experience in in performing IT quality analysis functions.
Experience must include:
Creating relevant test cases, test plans and all applicable quality assurance relevant documentation, conducting regression testing; analyze and report overall test status and results.
Participating in formal review of business/functional requirements and application design.
Coordinating test schedules and/or assisting in management of progress of all test activities against the test plan.
Executing or assisting in the execution of project functional testing tasks, user acceptance testing and/or supporting our business partners in user acceptance testing.
Coordination and direct communication with other project team members and business partners.
Ability to deliver effective verbal or written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding on both parties.
Customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
A master's degree in Information Technology or an IT related field substitutes for three (3) years of experience, OR an IT related bachelor's degree substitutes for two (2) years, OR an IT related associate's degree substitutes for one (1) year.
Preferred Qualifications
Intermediate level experience in manual testing and foundational experience in automated testing with the ability to execute test scripts.
Experience with Accessibility testing. and experience with tools, such as: AxeDev Tools, Pro, NVDA, Browser Stack and Postman.
Experience executing manual test cases and/or creating / executing automated scripts.
Experience with software development and/or testing for large scale applications and ability to work on moderately complex projects.
Strong background in process management using industry standard software development methodologies, including Agile.
Ability to communicate clearly, present complex information to users in a comprehensive style, and translate technical and system information for non-technical stakeholders, and have the ability to organize, prioritize multiple deadlines, and work independently to define problems as they arise, and to recommend alternative solutions.
Proven ability to develop effective working relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and cross-functional teams comprised of developers, business analysts, production support and others.
