Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Long Island City, New York. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth office operations, while managing tasks such as data entry and handling incoming calls. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact by answering and directing inbound calls professionally and efficiently.

Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain and update records.

Provide administrative support to office staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Manage receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.

Assist in organizing and maintaining office files and documentation.

Coordinate communication between departments to streamline processes.

Handle scheduling and calendar management for meetings and appointments.

Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.

Support special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned. Requirements - Proven experience in administrative assistance or a related role.

Strong proficiency in data entry and managing office operations.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to handle inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.

Familiarity with receptionist duties and customer-facing tasks.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in using office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office.
