Job Description

Responsibilities
Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free, ensuring all inspections are precisely documented.
Maintain and clean the forklift systematically.
Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry.
Perform additional manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as sampling, inventory, and cleaning.
Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
During the seed delivery and return season, ensure proper loading and unloading of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Ability to count accurately when moving inventory.
Prior forklift certification is preferred.
Pass a compliance check and other pre-employment screenings.
Reliable transportation to the site and punctuality.
Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty, and a willingness to treat all with respect.
Ability to work in confined spaces with a forklift.
Work Environment
Work in a dynamic warehouse setting with rotating shifts available, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts of up to 10-12 hours per day. Shift possibilities include Sunday-Thursday or Saturday-Friday with 12-hour shifts on a 2-3-2 rotation, typically between October and April.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
