Strategic Integrator (m/f/d)
The incumbent for this position can be located in Germany or the United States. Position Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will support the development of operational plans for each workstream, aligning them with defined financial and business outcomes. You will act on the needs and challenges of workstreams, collaborating closely with areas like DSO, HR, and Finance to ensure optimal conditions for success. Your partnership with workstreams will help identify interdependencies and critical paths, building bridges and actions that set workstreams on the path to success. You will implement the governance model, involving critical stakeholders, forums, and escalation mechanisms. As a subject matter expert, you'll provide specialized support in analytics, strategic narrative, risk assessment, change management, and more. You will establish relationships with DSO practitioners to address workstream needs holistically and define the best approach. Your role involves frequent assessment of results, overcoming roadblocks, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will collaborate with the communications team to develop robust communication plans and provide training and upskilling to workstream members.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the development of operational plans for each workstream in connection with defined financial and business outcomes;
Act on the needs, challenges, and demand for respective workstreams, collaborating with areas like DSO, HR, and Finance;
Partner with workstreams to identify interdependencies and critical paths, and develop actions for workstream success;
Ensure implementation of the governance model with critical stakeholders, forums, and escalation mechanisms;
Provide specialized support in analytics, business scenarios, strategic narrative, risk assessment, change management, and more;
Establish relationships with DSO practitioners to discuss workstream needs holistically and define the best approach;
Assess results frequently, connect with stakeholders to identify roadblocks, define corrective actions, and report key indicators;
Develop high-quality deliverables for each workstream, either directly or in partnership with workstream members;
Collaborate with the communications team to support robust communication plans;
Provide training and upskilling for workstream members in relevant areas.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Master's Degree in in a business-related field (e.g., Engineering, Agriculture, Chemistry or related field)
Long-Term professional experience in preferably production/product supply; or supply chain management, accounting or finance
Proven experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the Crop Science or Agroscience sectors, ideally with:
Experience in consulting (e.g., transformation advisory) or corporate strategy or transformation unit
Experience in coordinating and supporting strategy or transformation projects in the agricultural or chemical industry, particularly:
Contribution to significant transformation programs (e.g., portfolio optimization, production network realignment, innovation initiatives)
Collaboration with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, supply chain, finance)
Experience in linking strategy to operational execution
Ability to drive implementation of strategic workstreams across diverse functions;
market and industry knowledge in Crop Science
Knowledge and experience in general business processes, including accounting, finance, marketing, production, and supply chain
Leadership experience (direct or indirect) in mentoring or coaching colleagues, capabilities in exercising influence in environments with no formal leadership
Experience in working with senior stakeholders in lower and mid-level management, combined with strong communication and influencing skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Analytical, conceptual, and implementation skills; initiative, persuasiveness, and team spirit
Experience in moving forward in situations with high levels of uncertainty
Fluency in English
United States:
In the US, employees can expect to be paid a salary between $140,000 to $211,000. This range reflects the national US market rate ("salary range") for base pay for the relevant role. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
