Position Summary: The Documentation Control Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining document control of all Quality policies, procedures, forms, specifications, MSDS sheets, and engineering change orders. This role will also handle special projects as directed by the head of Quality and provide administrative support as needed. Responsibilities Document Control Coordinator Responsibilities: Format, @type, distribute, and maintain all of the following controlled documents, based on information and rough drafts provided by company personnel: Policy and procedure manuals for Quality, Corporate, Precision Machining Division, and Electrical Connector Division. Manufacturing process specifications. Internal forms. As submitted, enter all new forms into the Forms Master List, create the ECO for new forms, process changes for existing forms, and file. Maintain departmental files, specifications and as applicable, complete forms, logbooks, and distribution for all relevant engineering documentation Manage Engineering Change Orders (ECO) as required by the ECO policy and procedure. IP generation and revisions based on information and rough draft provided by Quality Coordinators. Maintain specification file containing customer and industry specifications. Maintenance includes the specification log, filing of the specifications, and insuring current revisions on file. Complete procedural audit tracking, notification and file maintenance as required. Organize and sort documents into categories Create system folders and hierarchies Save documentation into various software systems, scan documents using scanning equipment Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly Read, understand, and complies with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of experience Able to work independently and initiate projects Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize and multitask Preferred Requirements: 3 years related experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Access and/or Adobe Acrobat What is it like to work at Cretex Medical?
