Overview
Bowhead seeks a Field Service Representative (FSR). The FSR will be responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment.
Responsibilities
Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics
Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process
Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components, when necessary
Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting
Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities
Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
Produce frequent and analytical service reports
Team up with colleagues and pass on important information
Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
Formulate relationships of trust with customers
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time
Maintain effective customer communications and relations
May provide onsite training of customer support personnel
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum High School education
Minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience
Over one (1) year of SATCOM experience
Over one (1) year of Networking experience
1-3 years Networking experience
Experience working with COMSEC items/materials (i.e. Type 1 encryptors, SKLs, KGs, etc)
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc)
Preferred:
Experience with DoD deployed communications
Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks
Experience with DISA SAR and GAR processes
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement at this location.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
