The Opportunity:
CACI has an immediate opening for an experienced Software Development Manager to be part of our corporate Enterprise Business Systems team. In this role, the candidate will provide management oversight and leadership for the development and maintenance of several of our internal enterprise business systems. The candidate will provide management direction and oversight to customer implementation and support teams as well as software development teams. The candidate is also responsible for advising senior leadership on project activities necessary to ensure the accomplishment of timely and effective support, performed in accordance with the requirements.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, organizing and managing of software development and support teams responsible for several products.
Provide thought leadership to project analyses and process improvement activities.
Develop comprehensive project plans and roadmaps to include both long and short-range goals and milestones.
Communicate with senior leadership regarding matters of importance, including briefings and reports regarding plans, achievements, and opportunities within and outside of the program.
Participate, as needed, in the interview, selection and training of staff to provide quality results for the organization.
Lead, mentor, and coach employees, foster a collaborative environment, conduct performance evaluations, and support professional development.
Product Owner responsibilities to include facilitating prioritization requests from business stakeholders within a large backlog of work items and ensuring work is aligned with business goals and customer needs. Communicate with stakeholders to facilitate, coordinate and assist with the day-to-day execution of the project or program.
Work closely with the Scrum Master to monitor all activities in a Scrum/Agile software development environment.
Manage the direction of software development and support projects through the organization's existing SDLC process in accordance with team standards and stakeholder requirements.
Identify, analyze and define project/program requirements and scope.
Ensure all teams adhere to existing team standard processes and contribute to their improvement.
Oversee the Operations and Maintenance of existing software applications.
Oversee staff in the exercise of Tier 2/3 support for existing applications.
Exercise a broadly delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing many routine and complex project support tasks.
Work with Tier 1 support teams to document support plans and knowledge-base articles to all Tier 1 to handle as many application tasks as practical.
Qualifications:
Required:
Experience working in a Scrum/Agile software development environment.
Experience in directing the full software development and support life cycle from the development of comprehensive project plans including both long and short-range goals and milestones and follow-on operations and maintenance support activities once the application is built and deployed.
Ability to organize and direct a software development team through the full software development lifecycle including requirements, design, development, system/integration testing, and customer acceptance testing.
Mature client engagement and management skills to support frequent interface with internal customers as well as top management for the purpose of communicating status of project throughout life cycle.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience in supervising direct reports, including training, directing employee work activities, signing timecards, preparing performance reviews, and handling discipline problems.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience AND 5-7 years' experience managing technical projects with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired:
Knowledge and experience managing/overseeing a Deltek Costpoint implementation.
If not Costpoint, knowledge and experience managing/overseeing a corporate accounting or financial system.
Experience as Product Owner in a Scrum/Agile operating environment.
Background as a business systems analyst, software developer, or software tester.
PMP Certification.
Working and applicable knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
Working and applicable knowledge of the Microsoft DevOps platform and its use in an Agile environment

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$81,300 - $170,700
